I am hard pressed to even give this school one star! It is the worst school my children have ever been to! I cannot even begin to express my astonishment at the lack of respect, care, concern, and basic rights that the kids in this school lack, due to an extremely rigid and dictatorial principle ... My children have only been here one school year and they have all been targeted as "BAD" kids ... ( they all are on honor roll ) ... I am deeply concerned at the "teaching" that is taking place in this institution, and am actually moving my family somewhere else simply because of this school system. In short it is the worst place you could send your child...Think twice before you move here!
School sucks, bottom line, but this school is a living hell. Bullying, drugs, you name it, and nothing is done. Authority sucks, and you are confronted half without being able to explain yourself or your side of the story. The other half you get detentions even when you don't deserve them. The homework is to much it feels like child labor and on a busy day, it's and estimated 4 hours of work, and getting home at 3 and homework till 7, there's not much to do. Even when we get time in class, study hall, and study hall 2, it adds up to about one hour, still leaving a load. The middle school so far has had 2 people move for school stress to a different school, and there has been 1 suicide and 1 suicide attempt as far as I know. So don't come here, and just go to a better school.
Too much drama. Really, poeple have to commit suicide? This school is 10 times worse than Manchester, and that one SUCKS! It's still better with 35 kids in each classroom! I would really love to go back...
I have, however, been content with my 5 years here so far.
@anonymous: the grades of students do not always accurately describe their integrity/behavior... Anyway, when criticizing an institution such as a middle/highschool, it is hard, as a student, to find the unbiased balance between whether or not your lack of satisfaction is due to staff/structure, or student body... Most of the time my thinking leans towards the latter.
Almost every room has water stain,That could be a fire hazard.I don't think this school is legally allowed to be a school.
